Dr. Gaylon Wilmeth-Burleson

DVM

Dr Wilmeth-Burleson earned her DVM from Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Prior to Veterinary school she attended Angelo State University and acquired her degree in natural resource management in 2010. In 2016 she started her career at Critter Care Veterinary Clinic in Laredo TX where she practiced full time for about 4 years. During this time Dr. Gaylon went on to start her own practice in her hometown of Dilley TX in 2018 opening only on the weekends and evolved the practice into a full-time clinic in 2021. She enjoys practicing medicine in a small town where she gets to know her clients on a personal level. In her spare time, she enjoys working on the family ranches and farms as well as spending time with her family.

Elexus Dishroon

Office Manager

Elexus is our practice office manager and has been with Dilley Veterinary Clinic since April 2021. Originally from Losantville Indiana, she attended Ball State University becoming a certified medical assistant. In 2021 her husband accepted a job offer with AEP Pearsall so the two packed up their belongings and moved 18 hours away to Dilley TX. When Elexus is not working, she loves being outdoors spending time with her daughter Indie and husband Luke.

Breanna Ruhmann

Veterinarian Technician

Breanna is a technician here at Dilley Veterinary Clinic. She is our newest member that started in August 2023. From Cotulla, she graduated from A&M Kingsville with a bachelor’s degree in animal science. Breanna has been a veterinary technician for 3 years and has a wide range of experience. In her free time, she enjoys helping around her family’s ranch.

Esperansa Sanchez

Secretary

Esperansa is a secretary here at Dilley Veterinary Clinic, she has been with us since November of 2021. Raised in Dilley, Texas, she feels awarded to be able to help her community with their furry loved ones. In her free time, she loves to read, spend time with her dog Lola and learn new recipes to recreate with her boyfriend.

John Eguia

Veterinary Technician

John is a technician here at Dilley Veterinary Clinic going on 4 years. From Dilley, he attended the Art Institute of San Antonio majoring in Culinary Arts and took classes and firefighter training with Texas A&M Engineering Extension Services “TEEX” for short. When John is not working he enjoys spending time with his dog Rose who in his opinion is his big potato, going and trying new restaurants with his girlfriend or even trying new recipes together.

Jamie Mullins

Veterinary Technician

Jamie is a part-time technician at Dilley Veterinary Clinic. From Saint Louis, graduated a year early from high school to join the military. She served 6 years as a preventive medicine specialist and military police. After an honorable discharge from the military Jamie became an EMT working out of Dilley and Uvalde. Jamie has been with the clinic for 6 years as a technician but has been a technician for 9 years total. She enjoys developing meaningful relationships with both clients and patients. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her three kids and reading.
